Salty Pickles
A Pickleball Podcast
Welcome to Salty Pickles, the podcast where pickleball meets personality. Hosted by Alexis Buatti-Ramos and Dieu Cai Hsiu, two competitive picklers turned partners in banter, we serve up fresh takes on the sport we love — the wins, the whiffs, and the wild personalities on and off the court. Whether you’re a seasoned dinker or new to the kitchen, we’ll keep you laughing, learning, and maybe even lobbing in your sleep.

Why We’re “More Than a Podcast”
At Salty Pickles, we’re not just turning mics on and talking paddles and strategies (actually, we’re not talking about that at all!). We’re building something bigger. We believe the real magic of pickleball happens when you’re surrounded by people who want to play, grow, belong, and lift each other up. So we’re doing more than releasing episodes. We’re creating space for community: fun local games, real conversations, and voices that remind us mindset and connection matter.
Our mission is to give voices and share stories of the amateur players of pickleball without raising the tension. To welcome beginners, celebrate veterans, and make mental strength something everyone can own.
Because for us, it’s friendships before footwork, vibes before medals (OK, Alexis is still working on this!) , and the simple truth that when a paddle meets a ball, we all win.
Come for the podcast, stay for the rally.
Get to know us
If you’re wondering who the heck we are and how this whole Salty Pickles Podcast thing started, you’re not alone. We’re just two pickleball-obsessed Long Islanders who talk a little too much on and off the court, so we made a podcast about it. From awkward wins to questionable line calls (and even more questionable life choices), we’re serving up laughs, rants, and a little chaos.
